Dear Au Pair Candidate, We are looking for an Au Pair who is kind and loving, is mature and responsible, is a safe driver, and is willing to be part of our family. We are a close-knit family of five with three boys (6, 9, and 12 year olds). Boys are active and they all play soccer and basket ball, but they also like to make crafts and draw pictures, and we are looking for an Au Pair who like to do indoor activities as well as outdoor activities.
We would like our Au Pair to generally work Monday through Friday before and after school, and occasional Saturday or Friday nights – an average work week is 30 hours. The work hour increases to 9 hours a day during some of the children’s school holidays and vacations. The responsibilities we are asking of our Au Pair are: 1. Help our boys get ready for school in the morning and walk them to school. 2. Wash breakfast dishes and sweep under the table if needed. 3. Pick up the boys after school and walk back together. 4. Feed them snack. 5. Make sure they do their homework and help where you can. 6. Drive them to after school activities. 7. Play with the 6-year-old while older kids are doing their homework or in their after school activity. 8. Play with older boys when they have extra time. 9. Run the laundry once a week and help our boys fold their clothes. 10. Stay home if one of the boys is sick. 11. If the school is on vacation and Brian and I cannot take vacation, we would like you to play with our boys and do activities like craft, going to museums, and play sports.
