Dear Au Pair, My husband De Villiers (34) and I Sarah (33) have one daughter who is currently 15 months old (Taylor), De Villiers is originally from South Africa and speaks both English and Afrikaans, I am British and have lived in West Sussex my entire life. We are an easy going and friendly family looking for an au pair to join our family for at least 12 months and possibly longer. I have recently returned to work and am looking for an au pair to help look after Taylor while I am at work. My husband works from home 1-2 days a week and I also occasionally work from home. We have a large extended family who live nearby and are very much apart of Taylor's upbringing. We live in a small town with good transport links into central London. We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 2 washroom town house with a garden and a lovely big kitchen dinning room and lounge to sit and relax in. You will have your own double bedroom, toilet and a bathroom which would be mostly for your use only. We are within walking distance of the local train station, high street where you will find supermarkets, cafes, hairdressers, leisure centre and library. We are a young family who like to spend time together at home or going out. During the summer we enjoy BBQ's, going to the park, swimming, country walks and eating out. Taylor is developing and changing every week, she has a good routine a typical day she wakes up about 7am, get dressed, breakfast at 8am mid morning nap around 9.30am, lunch at 12.30, afternoon nap around 3pm, dinner at 5pm, bath at 6.30pm and bedtime 7pm. In between
Your main duties will be looking after Taylor, this will include dressing her, changing nappies, feeding, arranging activities for her and taking her for walks and swimming. We would like you to help with the house work such as hoovering, dusting, cleaning the main bathroom, making food which will be mostly related to Taylor. We would like you to take care of Taylor while I am at work during the week, your evenings and weekends will be free, however we may ask if you could occasionally babysit for us in the evening. We will provide you with a mobile phone and monthly credit amount.
