Hi, We (Marnix & Myrthe) are young minded creative couple living in a spacious loft like apartment in the centre of Amsterdam together with our almost 4 year old daughter Mila and our soon to be born daughter Yuna. Some days per week the newborn of Marnix business partner will live with us too. We both work independent. Marnix owns its own production company (mainly film and digital productions) and I (Myrthe) am a freelancer. We moved into our new house 1 year ago and attached to our home we created a small separate studio apartment offering its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom which means the person working for us enjoys its privacy on free days. We are looking for: - A native English speaking aupair. - Someone with an open and sweet personality. - More a free spirit than a conservative kind of person - An independent thinker/doer - Someone who loves to go out and explore with the kids (in good weather go out, in bad weather having the creative ability to make it fun, exiting and challenging too). - By preference a pedagogical educated person and/or someone with parenting skills. - Someone speaking a little bit Dutch too would be amazing.
Basically I see the tasks of an aupair as taking over the duties the mom has when She spends time with the kids, which in this case means: - 3 days per week approx from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM - together with the parents preparing for school (breakfast, showering,dressing) - Whole day taking care of 1 or 2 babies (that will do a lot of sleeping during the day) - Take and pick up Mila to/from school - nice out or inside activity with the kids (we can be flexible in this. Me or Marnix may sometimes be at home so the au pair can take out the oldest for a fun cultural experience f.e) - light housework (f.e washing, small groceries, cooking, clean up and keep the house tidy) p.s1 We have a cleaning lady that come every week so no need to do big cleanings p.s2: occasionally we may ask the aupair to babysit by night iso during the day or in addition to.
