Hello, My name is Kay, We are after our second Au Pair to start in November. We have absolutely loved having the one we have at the moment, and think she has loved being with us just as much, to be honest we definitely don't want her to go, but unfortunately she has to return back to Uni in Italy In October. I run and own a Trampoline and Gymnastics Club here in Albany Western Australia, and my Husband is a prison Officer who works shifts. We have two Children, one girl ( Chloe 10yrs ) and a Boy Tom who is nearly 9yrs) who both really love sport. They are really good at competitive Trampolining and both are the present State Champions for Western Australia. Tom played hockey last term and has told me it's his new favourite sport. He is also very good at soccer, cricket and sprinting. ( not so good at long distance haha!) He got a guitar and drum kit for his Birthday, but as we are not really a musical family it would be nice to have someone that could maybe give him a helping hand to learn to play. Earlier this year he went through a phase of making almost everything with origami and could make some amazing things! And is interested in most things that are hands on. Chloe is also a good sprinter and has won the inter school sports 3 years running. She has just joined the swimming team and is really enjoying it and doing very well. She also loves dancing, singing, acting, reading, going for bike rides and soccer and has just finished a term of Trapeze. She loves moving the furniture around in her room, She thinks one day she would like to be a designer, and also likes
I would like 1 hours house work per day Monday - Friday. There will be a list of little jobs that are to be done each day, and then jobs that have to be done each week On occasions you will be required to take children to School, and work at the weekend if I am away on a course etc, but usually have the weekend off. ( this will be planned a few weeks ahead with other days off.) I would like you to collect the children from School every afternoon and take them to their sport or to the beach, to the park etc help with their homework, make them an evening hot meal from Monday to Friday so we would like a competent cook. Tom is gluten free, so this will need to be taken into account when making the meals. You will also be required to make their packed lunch for the next day, make sure they have everything ready for school the next day,and make sure they are showered and ready for bed by 7.45pm. Whilst we want you to be a great friend and sister like figure to our children, you must be able to take on our roll as a parent whilst looking after them, and see things that need to be done, and use your authority if needed. The hours would be perfect for You to do an open university course if you so desired, or a little job during the day as long as it didn't interfear at all with what we require as a family. We love having company in the house and would be happy to show our au pair all the fantastic sights of Albany, which their are many. If you wish to join us in our family activities at weekend like going to the cinema adventure parks or out for a meal, you would be more than welcome.
