We live in Melbourne, Australia. We are approx 25 minutes away from the city in a suburb called Donvale. It is close to one of the main freeways and with a short walk, access to buses which takes you to the train. Both my husband and I work full time. We also have a 24year old (the third daughter) who lives with us, and she also works full time (she doesn't require care, hahah) We can live a busy lifestyle. Filled with the girls activities and we love entertaining friends. We also enjoy hanging out at home, relaxing after a busy week. The girls both do activities on Saturday and swimming lessons on Sunday, so even the weekends can be busy. Charlotte just turned 8. She loves to talk, hahaha, she's in grade 2 at school (will be grade 3 next year), she plays basketball, piano (a little), is in the school choir and is just a lovely little girl. Lucy is about to turn 4. She also likes to talk, generally at the same time as Charlotte, so it can be noisy and busy in our house. Lucy does activities and loves puzzles, board games and her trampoline. We have an annual zoo pass, which is one of the girls favourite places to go, especially the butterfly enclosure. I know I'm basis but my girls are just great kids, they can have their moments, like most kids, but I get many compliments about them and would love to have another "big sister" in their lives for them to look up to and learn from!
The timing of this job allows you to get an extra job in the evenings/ weekends if you choose. If there is additional babysitting outside of our agreement, you will be remunerated accordingly. Your room has a bed, heating, air con. All internet, food, electricity included. Light duties regarding the girls will be required. And just general courtesy to the house as you would at your own home. No requirement to cook but you are most welcome to cook dinner if you like. Most of all we want our Au pair to be part of our family.... Can't wait to hear from you
