Someone hardworking, efficient and with initiative. A family member who genuinely enjoys being with young children and has the kind heartedness and patience that comes hand in hand with that. --------------------------------- The Job --------------------------------- We are looking for someone to work up to 40 hours per week - Week days only. You will have weekends off. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Looking after children on & off - Not full time everyday - Working alongside me (mum) to help me with the shopping etc - Light household cleaning - Making the beds in the morning - Helping with food preparation (not necessarily cooking) - Taking the children to the park/shops etc - Helping with the washing - Assisting with general tasks from kids wake up, dress, breakfast... Through to night time bath, bed etc (On and off when mum needs help) We are happy for you to take up extra work on the weekends if you wish. We are happy to provide flexibility with your hours if you wish to take a long weekend or have days off here and there We ask for your flexibility in return. We will pay you $18/h for any hour over your expected 40 (This would only ever be the case after pre planning with you) We can provide a vehicle during your weekly trips with the children however on the weekend will often but not always need the cars ourselves. As our family consists of three under 2 we ask only that only those with experience/willing to work with young children, newborns & toddlers apply. Thank you! --------------------------------- Accommodation --------------------------------- For the right applicant we are offering a very large self contained studio. The room is large and light with many windows. New bathroom and small kitchenette. Microwave. Bar fridge. Television, Fully furnished. Wifi. You will be living on the lower level of the home - We all reside upstairs - so you will have privacy. As there are two beds in the room we are open to a share au pair set up if both you and a friend wanted to work together and share the studio. We live a 4minute walk to the bus stop. 15minute walk into town/beach/shops & restaurants.
