We're both in the health field and work at neighboring universities - Erin in maternal & child health, Kirk in infection prevention. We have two kids - 10 year old daughter who loves art, music, movies, and horseback riding, and a 4 year old son who loves cars/trucks, building things, being read to, and playing outside. We also have two dogs - a 1.5 yr old labradoodle and a 4 year old pug. We live in a progressive, medium-sized city with lots of great restaurants, music, and art. We're looking for an au pair who is easy-going and fun-loving, yet responsible, is a confident driver, and is excited about living in a new country & culture.
We need someone to help pick up our daughter after school, help with homework, and take her to activities. We also need someone who can stay with both kids during snow days or early-release days from school/daycare. Light housework (mainly helping the kids pick up their stuff) would be appreciated, as would starting dinner on nights when we've got meetings that are running late.
