Good day We are emigrating to NZ next year May and require an au pair from around June 2017 for about a year. We require someone from SA as our 4-year-old daughter is still learning English. You therefore need to have at the very least a good basic understanding of Afrikaans. We will also have a 6-month-old baby at the time. This will be the primary child which will need care during the day, so experience with small children is essential. We would like to do the interviews while we are still in SA. We are based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. You will have your own room in our house and we could possibly assist with airfares to NZ. Your pay will depend on experience, but will be between $150-$180 per week, which is above average pay. You will not work weekends or evenings (unless you are needed and willing, and compensation will be given per hour). We require you to be able to do/have the following: Up-to-date first aid training, a driver's licence (we will provide you with a car for daily use), non-smoker, good swimmer, not allergic to dogs and willing to enforce discipline (for lack of a better phrase, "we don't raise brats").
