We are a family of five living in the village (/small town) of Laren, near Amsterdam. Our three daughters are Chloe (4 yrs), Naomi (3 yrs) and Ava (10 months). Each of the girls has their own character and personality. Chloe and Naomi are both a lot of fun - they particularly love their fancy dress box, their bicycles, playing in the garden and all things art&craft. Also to note, is that Naomi gives the best cuddles in the world! The older girls very affectionate to their younger sister, perhaps slightly too attentive at times so the Ava does well to keep up with them. She has been crawling for a few weeks so will soon be on her feet... Laren is a very quaint village, but also big enough to have all the facilities we need - including a swimming pool that the girls are big fans of. In the village there are a good number of bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a lot of nice nature around. It is also handy to have the grandparents in the village in case a little extra help is needed! We hope that this sounds like a family you would like to join, so look forward to hearing from you.
As parents we both work (between 3 and 5 days a week each) so we are looking for someone to come and help us with the girls: when we are working this means taking Chloe to school, and then looking after Naomi and Ava during the day. The evenings and weekends are more variable - we are generally quite flexible, but would like the au pair to be home for the kids 0-2 evenings per week.
