We are a young couple (aged 24 and 30) who in November 2015, welcomed our baby girl Darcey into our family. I am a registered nurse who is returning to shift work in April and Matt is an underground miner who does fly in fly out work. My family (2 older sisters, 2 nieces and parents) also live at the coast and on days off we enjoy trips to the beach and taking the jet ski out together. You would be welcome to join in or could do your own thing. I enjoy walks along the beach, trips for coffee or going shopping. Matt loves to fish and play golf. Darcey is a very good little bub, who barely ever cries and loves to smile! We have 2 outdoor dogs called Ralphie and Stubby.
I am going to return to work in April, and will be doing approximately 4 shifts per week. These shifts will be mornings approximately 0630 - 1500 hours or evenings 1430 - 2300 hours. These are the times you would need to look after Darcey (I would care for her when at home). As Matt is fly in fly out from the mines, during his time away I would require more help around the house and with Darcey, however when he is home we are happy for you to go travelling, do your own thing or stay around. He currently works 2 weeks away: 1 week home. I would like someone who will help with housework and meal preparation on the days I work. You may also be required to help out with my 2 nieces, who are currently 4 years old and 18 months. However, this wouldn't be very often.
