We are a small but busy family looking for some extra help so that we can spend more quality time together. Our daughter Winnie is 15 months old. She is a spirited happy baby who loves exploring. She also loves the outdoors, eating and playing hide and seek. Mick (dad) works from home in the horse racing industry. I split working from home and being in the office managing my family's accounting firm. I am also completing a graduate diploma in accounting. We work 45 – 50 hours per week. We are an active family who spends our free time travelling locally and overseas. We do not have a TV and prefer to spend our nights having dinner together, slowing down and switching off after our busy days. We live in Toowoomba which is a large regional town 1.5 car drive from Brisbane. It is a very quiet town and activities include bushwalking, cinemas, sports and we have a great growing café culture. Our house is a 10 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk to Toowoomba largest park where cultural events and festivals are held. Our dog George is a large mastiff who spends most of his day sleeping.
Our home would welcome a happy, relaxed and positive person that is willing to help our busy family find more time to be together. We need someone to help out with Winnie 4 days per week. During this time you will spend a lot of time outdoors in all kinds of weather playing in our big back yard and going to the park. You will need to be creative and able to use your initiative when it comes to entertaining Winnie and completing other jobs around the home including – cleaning the main bathroom, washing Winnies clothes, cooking occasional meals, light housework to keep the house generally clean and tidy. You may also be asked to feed our dog and if needed take him for a walk. We would include you as part of our family and you will be invited to attend all our family functions and event. However you will have plenty of space to be independent and do your own thing at night and on weekends. We also often travel around our local area and to Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast and you will always be welcome to come with us to explore our country further. You will have your own room with board, food and internet provided as well as $150 AUD per week. You will not have access to a car however we have bicycle for your use. If you are willing to take on additional household duties, then there is the opportunity to earn extra money.
