Happy Irish family enjoying the Italian lifestyle. We have two little girls and we are expecting a new baby in December so we would like a little extra help around the house.
Our children are Ava (3 since May 28th) and Cora (2 on January 1st). Our third baby (a boy!) is due on December 21st. We need an au pair to help with the children, maybe do a little cooking and light house work (we have a cleaner who comes three days a week). Main duties would be playing with the girls and bringing them to and from the creche and school. They will be at creche/school in the mornings and sleep for 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon. They go to bed at 7pm and sleep all night 95% of the time. Circa 25 to 30 hours per week. Early mornings would be necessary as the girls get up at 7am and that is the time I will be feeding the baby. The au pair will have their own room and internet access and there is a gym and pool on site. We live in a small town just 5 minute train ride from Bergamo. And being Italy, it is pretty amazing!! There will be lots of time and opportunities to travel with or without us around Italy. Our au pair must be a mother tongue English speaker as the girls speak Italian in the creche and school and English at home. We will treat you as one of the family :).
