Our marriage was blessed with two great children. Andrew (Dad) travels a couple nights a week. Kimberlee (Mom) has been a nurse for 10 years. As things have settled down after pregnancy, Kimberlee is heading back to work (12 hour shifts). She's a wonderful mother who has set schedules that are flexible and working to the n'th degree. We would love to host someone interested in visiting America. They would not be uncomfortable when grace is said before meals. They are more than welcome to attend church with, or without us, but should believe in a higher calling.
There will be two options. #1 - The Au Pair will be a highly qualified driver, providing no fear for our children's safety to and from a nearby daycare facility for the day (8 hours). This could allow the house to be maintained to a degree. While certain household chores would be required, we have no intention of someone feeling like Cinderella. #2 - The Children stay home with no daycare, which allows increased financial generosity to the Au Pair. Less household functions would be expected in this format. Rebekah is a sweetheart that takes regular naps, functions independently (playing), but we will not allow her to spend extended periods of time by herself. Anderson (2 months) takes a formula bottle every 3 hours during the day and only one at night. He sleeps incredibly well day and night, but loves to be held while the sun is up. Either option, can and will be revised as things progress. We believe in catering to people's strengths vs. forcing them to work on their weaknesses. A part-time maid could be worked in to handle household arrangements. Childcare is our primary deciding factor and he house will be worked out.
