We are a friendly, multi-cultural family with the family languages Norwegian, Spanish, and German, and with lots of interests and dreams. We live in the South East of Norway in the university city of Halden near to the Swedish border and to the seaside. The father is professor and German, the mother is master student and Colombian. The twins are 4 years of age. They like to sing and dance, have learnt to swim in summer 2014 and are now learning English. They are already looking forward to the new family member, to play with her, to read, sing or dance with her, or simply to sport with her and to have fun. We are vegetarians.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, who wants to participate actively in our family life, and who wants to lean Norwegian and to meet Norwegians and the Norwegian culture. You care about our children and the household max. 30 h of the week. We offer: Norwegian course, 630 EUR per month + single room + food – taxes. There are 3 different kinds of residence/ stay: Residence permit as student: Condition: Commitment to the family, completed school, and exam in English (TOEFL, Cambridge, IELTS), in case you are not from the UK, Ireland or Germany with Abitur. Duration: until Bachelor degree - aproximately 4 years. Service: We will help with the university college place, with the studies and with the residence permit. Residence permit as au pair: Condition: Commitment to the family, not possible for Germans as the father is German. Duration: max. 2 years. Service: We will help with the residence permit. Stay as tourist: Condition: only commitment to the family. Duration: max. 3 months per stay. Options: possible for trial period or to bridge the time until the courses of study start.
