Hello, we are a family of four. My husband David, my daughter Carla, she is 13 years old, my son Artur of 6 years old and me. My name is Teresa We live in Alpicat, a village in the province of Lleida. Lleida is a town not far from Barcelona. I’m a primary school teacher and David is a sales commercial. We live in a very confortable detached house with swimming- pool. Summer in Lleida is very hot, so we are very pleased to have the chance to cool off in the pool every day in the summer time. We are looking forward to have an au-pair this summer in order to practice English as much as possible with an English native speaker. For me is very interesting because I actually teach English in my school and this would be a good way to do some more practice. At the weekend we can always plan some excursions and visit different places with you. I also want to mention that there is a golf course very close to our house, so if you like playing golf you’ve got the opportunity to play it with Carla, she normally plays golf twice a week.. We want to feel comfortable with the au-pair and we want you to feel good with us too. I think it can be a very positive experience for both parts.
Carla and Artur are learning English as a foreign language, so it would be great to share some of their time practicing English with you through different activities such as playing games, swimming, doing arts and crafts, going for a walk, riding a bike, cooking... A friend of us is taking Carla and two other kids to Ireland for two weeks in July. You would go with them (We would pay the tikets to and from Ireland)
