Hello, we would be glad if you are interested in joining our family as an au pair. Beside the fact that we need someone to take care of our children, we enjoy to support young people in getting new experiences abroad. We think that culture exchange and learning new languages are benefits for the whole life. My wife and I also spend some time abroad during our studies/trainings for the job. There we met so many nice people and got so much positive response that both of us had a great time and made positive experience. Now we would like to give young people the chance to make the same positive experiences in Germany. You would be part of our family and we will do whatever we can so that you have a good and fruitful time with us. Please feel free to ask any questions so that you get a good idea of your duties and the support we can give you. We are really looking forward to hearing from you. We live near Düsseldorf (12 minutes car drive).We have two fantastic children; a boy 5 years old and a girl three years old. Both are going to a nice Kindergarten close to our home. My wife is a doctor and - after a 5 years children-break - she wants to re-entry in her job. On February 1, she starts as a cardiologist in a hospital. I am a free lancer. My company produces tyre inflation systems for tractors and other agricultural vehicles. In our leisure time the whole family loves to be in the nature. Playing in the forest with the children, canoeing and hiking are activities all of us like
The duties of our au pair are the followings: Waking up the children, dressing them and bringing them to the Kindergarten by car. The kids get breakfast in the Kindergarten. 4 times a week the Kindergarten finishes after lunch time, between 2.00 and 4.00 p.m. Twice a week the kids have training (hockey and tennis). So there is a little driving to do. One day per week the training is before lunch time, so lunch must be prepared at home. A cleaning lady comes once a week. Beside this we expect some support in our household like buying food, sometimes cooking for the children, etc. It would be nice, if you would also bring our children sometimes to bed. At least 2 weekends are completely free and taking evening course would be also possible for you. You`ll have 2 weeks Holidays in 6 months.
