Dear au pair, We are looking for someone to be a part of our family. We have had au pairs before and that has worked really well. If you like our profile, drop us a line! We are an international family: Mark is Australian, Lotte is Danish. We speak mostly English at home. Daniel and Natasha are bilingual. Mark works as a doctor in a nearby hospice. Lotte is a physicist at Copenhagen central hospital. Daniel goes to school and Natasha is in child care. Also living with us is Karolina, who was our au pair but now studies nursing. We are a happy and open-minded family that enjoys interesting conversations, good food and good company.
We expect our au pair to: - drop Daniel off in school in the morning, 4 days a week - pick one of the kids up early about once a week and do something special with them - like a trip to the park, the movies, the zoo, whatever works for you. Obviously we'll pay for this - put the breakfast dishes away in the dish washer - pick one or both kids up from school and childcare 4 days a week. - put away the clean washing - vacuum the rooms on the ground floor once a week - do light supermarket shopping once or twice a week - babysit the kids about once a fortnight - help out when Mark or Lotte work late (about once a week or fortnight) or away at conferences (about 4 weeks a year)
