Hello, My name is Melissa and i am married to a wonderful husband named David. We are both in our late 30's and have a beautiful 5 year old daughter Zara. We do a home program and home schooling program with Zara who has additional needs as she was born with Down Syndrome. Zara is very high functioning however has some developmental delay in the area of speech . She is very bright and very able. We require assistance with our program and also with household chores as we would like to try and have another baby. As i am high risk i need to take things easy in my pregnancy. We have family support however need someone to take over our reigns with zara's physical program and intellectual homeschooling program.. i.e. Zara runs 2km a day and has a math, english program amongst all the other fun things you do at school. Zara attends kindergarten and will continue to do this for 15 hours a week, 5 hours 3 days a week. We will need assistance in ensuring Zara reaches her full potential. Afetr losing our son 7 years ago we have invested all our time to Zara's health and development. She is exceptionally healthy and developing very well as a result. We travel to the USA twice a year for treatment and we love to head to the coast and outdoors on our weekends.. we love to hike, swim, go to the beach and be in nature.. We would like someone with teaching experience, someone with energy and positivity, someone who can look past a label and who wants to be apart of a fun warm family.
We would love our carer who joins our family to become apart of our family. We would require our au pair to help out with household chores and to undertake Zara's homeschooling program on the days she is not at kindergarten.. Once i am pregnant we will require that in the event i am unable to drive Zara to and from kinder and appts that our au pair can help with this. Zaras home school program has a physical and intellectual component and we will require assistance in preparation of material for the intellectual program and assistance with executing the physical program.. we have a home gym where Zara undertakes her program...
