We are a Finnish-French family (mother French-Finnish, father Finnish), with a 1-year old daughter and a dog. We live in the countryside, on an island, close to the capital Helsinki (40 min drive) and the city of Porvoo (20 min drive). We are a professional couple in late the thirties that enjoy nature, sports, culture, good food and travelling. We are fairly easy-going and flexible. Our adorable daughter is now 1-year old, busy practicing walking and discovering the world. She is good tempered, laughing a lot and she is very social. In addition, we have a superbly kind rescue dog from Greece. We are fairly urgently looking for an addition to our family, to look after our daughter (and the dog!). We hope that you have prior experience of caring for small children and that you are patient and enjoy being with children. Driving licence is a must. We are looking forward to integrating a new member into our family and helping in the discovery of Finland!
We are primarily looking for someone to care for our daughter during the weekdays. This entails being in charge of lunches and dinners (including any preparations thereof), social activities (clubs etc.), being outdoors and generally assisting and helping our daughter in her development. We also appreciate if you can and are willing to help with light household work, such as cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.
