We have just started our search and are excited to start the process. Many of our friends have had au pairs recently and we think the time is now right for us as a family to have this experience. We are in Luxembourg, in a town called Alzingen, which is just south of the city. We have a nice house with a big garden and have great Luxembourgish neighbours. I work for an Italian company and thereforeneed to develop some Italian skills. We are in Luxembourg, so our French also needs to improve ( mine is basic and my wife's is just starting to learn), so language skills are a real bonus. Obviously the primary reason for us looking for an au pair is to help my wife, Meredith, with our son and the new baby due in Late Dec / early Jan. Our son, Huxley, is in full time nursery, so is mostly looked after already, but with our second child due, we think we need an extra pair of hands!
