Thank you. ************************** Peter and I met while we were studying abroad in Paris, France. Pete is English and has a master's in Astro-Physics from Leeds University and currently works for a photonics distribution company. He travels for work a bit and also works from home sometimes. I am American. I was an au pair in Paris, while I completed a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. I moved to London and completed an MBA in International Business. Pete and I have been together for 9 years we have been married almost 6. I have run my own small business consultancy for 7 years. I have had an extended maternity leave where I worked around my husband's schedule only. As the children are getting older, they don't require as much of my exclusive attention and I would like to get back to work. I will home school the children and having an au pair will allow me to have a flexible working schedule in the home as well as some extra help. I speak a moderate amount of French. We are really looking for someone to do a language and cultural exchange. I have taught English professionally and would be quite happy to help someone with their English if they would help my family, me and Pete included with their language and culture. We love all type
We would need an au pair who could work about 5 hours a day, Monday - Friday with the weekends off. And perhaps an occasional evening, so Pete and I could go out on a date. Ideally, the au pair would get up with the children, get them dressed and feed them breakfast in the morning. After breakfast, there would be some lessons in their language. We would buy material to help. They normally wake up around 8 am. On days when my husband is working from home, he will help with them. I will get up early and spend the morning working until 10 am. Our new house is a three storey townhouse. The top floor will be the living space for Pete and myself. You would not have to do any housekeeping up there, but we would require help in the rest of the house. The middle floor is where your room will be next to the children's and my office. You would be responsible for keeping the children's room tidy and their clothes and bathroom in order. Downstairs needs to be kept tidy as well, but we will clean up after ourselves if you make sure the children tidy up after themselves and help them. In the evening, I would like help with the family meals, tidying the kitchen afterwards and/putting the kids to bed. I am homeschooling because I really want to spend time with my children. I really need someone to help me as needed. For instance, if I feel like I haven't seen the kids as much as I would have liked to, it would be nice if you can make dinner and I can spend time with them and do the bedtime routine. I really need a mother's helper that is flexible, kind and patient with both the children and us. x We will pay £300 per month, plus of course room and board.
