We have a 9 year old girl. She is easy-going and very sociable. We are a casual family living in Santander (north coast city in Spain). Santander is a medium city with University and, therefore, good student environment. We like to share our home with au pairs because is a good chance to exchange culture and language. Also, our daughter loves au pairs since they play with her and she is confident speaking English with them. We are looking for an au pair who feel comfortable with children. Someone who was able to organize games to catch the interest of children and make them speak English. In addition, the au pair should be responsible with the child and also with the order and cleanliness of the house, like other members of the family helping with daily tasks.
The timetable is from Monday to Friday. On Sumer, It is spend time in the mornings, until 16:00h, in order to take care to the child and also speak English with her. You could stay at home, in the swiming pool, go to the beach, etc. Weekends are free for the au pairs in our home and we are flexible if it is required. During school time, the timetable were help her with the breakfast, dressing, etc and accompany her to the school at 9 AM. After, in the evening, help her with the homework and have dinner with the family.
