Dear Au Pair, we are an honest and nice family living in Rome. We have a comfortable and modern flat in a residential suburb full of green but very close to downtown and 20 min by walking (or 5 minutes by bus) from metro. You will have a room and a small bathroom dedicated to you. You will enjoy going with us to the sea side during the summer time. Whenever you want you can use a car. We don't need you to drive for girls needs, their school is in fact 5 minutes walking from our house. We (both me and my wife) are 39 y.o. - Our daughters are 8 an 10 y.o. - We both work and during our spare time we are focused on our girls. I'm an engineer working for an international bank and my wife Lucia is a pharmacist working for the pharmaceutical public department. Girls are really affectionate, joyful and with a great will to learn. They attend american girlscouts and practice swimming and gymnastics. We are easy going and serious people
You should help us in improving english language of our family, expecially our girls. This will be your first goal. The second goal will be helping us in looking after the girls (taking them to school and picking them up, school is close to our house) and in light houseworks. We expect you to stay with us for 6 months at least and you can start from next june. Italy has special agreements with Canada, New Zeland and Australia to allow au pairs staying in Italy up to 12 months, while from USA you have to attend a course and to show you are a student if you want to stay longer than 3 months so, please, consider this fact.
