We are a mixed married couple, both 35 years old. Our Baby will be born in January 2014. We are well educated and travelled people ( wife musician/ husband airline captain). We love to see many new things and enjoy life. Up till now I took my wife with me on trips 20 days a month.But with pregnancy this is going to stop unfortunately in a few months from now. We are living in a brand new townhouse in Mainz which is a university city with over 200.000 people. Mainz is 10 km from Wiesbaden and 30 km from Frankfurt the buzzing main banking city in Germany. Right bordering on our house you have access to the Rhine River Valley which is much visited internationally with its vinyards and castles. Our place is about 5 km from Mainz city center and basically all areas are accessible by public transport. ( even long train service all throughout Europe ) We are really outgoing, easy to get along with and love to share our lives with you. We da have a rather lax household routine ( due to my international flight schedule ) with no fixed times and schedule and the baby not going to Kindergarten or school. Important is that things get done and not when. Means i.e sometimes we get up at noon but stay up all night due to Jetlag. We love to do sports (I run 6 km every day ) and do BBQ outside with friends. We were living in the USA, Singapore, South Korea, and some other places so we know a lot of different mentalties and cultures. We love KOREAN cooking, mostly eating Korean food.
We expect you to come to our place and be part of our life. You will be given an own room of course for your privacy. We would like for you to help us get on with life after the baby is born. This also includes helping with household chores, cooking, and taking care of the baby of course. Most important thing is: be reminded that this is not a "nine to five" job, 5 days a week with a fixed schedule. We might expect you to be there for us for example 3 days full even at night ( when I am gone ) but therefore you get full time off thereafter instead of a daily fixed routine on / off schedule. All will be coordinated with you of course but we expect you to be cooperative and flexible. Also honesty and loyalty is really important. You should have a lot of patience for new cultures and be able adapt to a new life style easy. We rather would like you to have fun with our life style instead of you living "in your own world" while being here. Also you should have a good mind for cleanliness as we keep the house spotless clean. But in the end, this year here is supposed to be a truely nice experience for you that you will remember for your whole life. if you think you are up to it, send us an Email in English pls. :-D
