We are a christian family based in West Acres, a suburb in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. My husband and I have 3 children aged 18, 6 and 3. All of them are currently at school. We are looking for a nanny with strong Christian background and principles. and who can also cook. Must be humble, friendly, flexible, reliable, hardworking, good personal hygiene, focused, ability to work efficiently with another member of staff in the house, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to follow instructions and ability to read. Must be able to cook Preferably 28 years of age and above Experience – Minimum 3 years or more in child minding and cooking Reading and writing essential Good English speaking and at least ability to speak or understand one vanacular language (Zulu or SiSwati) Courses and certificates in basic cooking, child-minding and child stimulation, housekeeping, CPR for infants and toddlers and first aid Strictly full time and flexible when required to overnight or travel with us Drivers license is a must. Own transport would be an advantage but not essential Transport and collect children to/from school and other extramural activities. Assist the children with homework Contactable references very important. The right candidate is a person who loves children, can cook basic and willing to learn, committed to the job.
