We are a married couple with 2 sweet girls (aged 2 and 5)living in the country in Berkshire in a sweet small town that has pubs and restaurants and lovely countryside...but which has a railway within 1/2 mile with a fast train to London, Reading and the west country (Devon etc). This means that you can walk to the station and get a train to central London in 1 hour, and yet enjoy the local restaurants, rivers and bars. We are looking for an au pair aged 22 - 30 ish who is kind and good with children, preferably with basic English so that they can learn better English quickly. Our youngest daughter is at nursery twice a week and the eldest is at school. The au pair will have a very nice, well decorated self contained bedroom (own stair case) with their own separate bathroom including shower and bath, television etc, with WIFI. We also have 2 cars, one of which is available for the au pair to drive as they want. There are several au pairs in the local area (< 1 mile away) which our current au pair has really enjoyed...and an au pair language school as well !. Our current au pair is going back to Spain as she has been given a job in a bank. We will miss her !. Our parents live near by and are often on hand to teach english and take au pairs out for a drink or coffee
Basic job would be to look up Poppy (2 years old) for 3 days a week (may go down to 2 days a week) and pick up and drop older child off to school. A little tidying up would be appreciated, but not much. Obviously you have weekends off (as well as most of Wednesday and Friday due to nursery), and bank holidays / other holidays. In return you would get a lovely "flat" a free car, food, drink etc and a generous monthly income. Both girls are easy to look after and quite fun.
