Hello, we are looking for a FEMALE only au-pair to come and join our family for the summer. We are a family with 3 children at home aged 10yrs, 9yrs and 7yrs old and mum who is 47yrs young. I have a teenage son age 14, who visits in the school holidays for 2 to 3 weeks this summer. We live in a lovely village with a train station and buses for you to go exploring if you chose to do so. London is just 1hr away by train and Oxford 30 mins by train. My daughters 10yrs & 9yrs old love bouncing on the trampoline, going out on their scooters/bikes, doing arts & crafts, football and my 7yr old son loves copying the others and playing in the garden, going to the local park. They all love baking cookies and cakes. We are a happy family who look forward to welcoming an au-pair to be part of our family in the summer. We need someone who is able to look after the children when I go out. I work part time, so really need someone organised and confident, who will sometimes be able to deal with the children if I am not around. Someone to be a friend/big sister to them. Ideally I am looking for someone who is experienced around children & won't get homesick. We really hope this will be a good experience for the au-pair to join in with and become part of our family. I would like someone who is happy to do a little bit of housework too.
I would like the Au-pair to care for my children whilst I go to work for 3/4 days a week, short hours between 3 to 6hrs a day. I would like 2 nights babysitting, but I will not always use these. I also would like someone able to help around the house a little, encourage the children to tidy up, to do the dishes if I am cooking. You will have plenty of time off, every weekend is yours, plus lots of time in the week, when I am home. Flexibility and a willingness to just join in and become part of our family. Au-pair must come from a recognised country able to be here working as an au-pair or have the relevant visa, as the UK is strict on admissions, no acceptions. You will have your own room, shared bathroom and I will give you £50 pocket money a week. The children are very easy going, you will just have to keep an eye on them whilst I work.
