Dear Au Pair Candidate: We are a small family of 3 (two parents and a very pleasant 6-month old baby boy), with 2 dogs. We also already have a housekeeper who takes care of household responsibility. Our home is 20 minute drive from Lisbon city center. You will have your own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The home is modern.
- You must be an European Union /Schengen Area citizen or have the right to work in EU/Schengen - Your primary responsibility is to take care of the baby boy. (You do not need to worry about household chores because the housekeeper will handle that) - we frequently travel internationally, so an Au Pair that is ok with international travel is best (we will pay airfares and accommodation for international travel) - Experience caring for young babies is essential, including a confident, capable approach to caring and managing the needs of a busy baby - Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate, and educational activities - Support early development and transitions e.g. toilet training, sleep routines - Keep children’s areas tidy and well-organised - Manage packing and logistics for frequent international travel - Au Pair must be able to follow daily schedule for baby boy - Au Pair must be good at playing with baby boy and putting baby boy to sleep
