Hi everyone, we're are a family of 4+1 people based in the center of Milan. Our 19 years old daughter just finished high school and she's now having a gap year around the world while our 12 years old son just started middle school...and then there's Olly, our 5 years old Labradoodle, the most calm and polite dog on earth. We leave in the center of Milan, everything is reachable easily with public transportation but we also have a little electric car that you'll be free to use to move around. In our place you'll be given your own small almost - independent apartment (wich is the bottom floor of the house) with your private kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The apartment is connected through a door to our main house and you'll be free to come and spend time with us whenever you want. We've been au-pairing for 4 years now and we're super happy with the way it's working out for all of us. We mostly do it to give a culture exchange to Tommy (our son) and help him with the languages, he's in an international school and by now he got very good with English and now we'd like to help him out with some French too...and what a better way than a french speaking aupair ;). Here's the basic info: We're looking for someone that will mostly be taking care of Tommy (he's awesome and super sweet and fun, a pretty easy child, he speaks English fluently and he's quite mature for his age). With him you have to take him and pick him up from school, take him to his afternoon activities and sit with him while he does his homework (he needs help with french so it'd be perfect if you can speak a bit of french with him). When Tommy is at school (up to 2pm) you're free to do whatever you want While Tommy's weekly day schedule is pretty fixed we need some flexibility during the evenings; me and my husband moove a lot for work, in between Milan, Rome, Venice and Courmayeur, where we have most of our business; when we're home you're welcome to join our table or stay in your little apartment by yourself if you prefer, while when we're not home you'd have dinner with Tommy (usually our cleaning lady also takes care of the food but feel free to cook whatever you want).
