Dear au pair, my name is Giovanna, I am Italian but I live with my family in Tampere, Finland. At home we are five, me, my husband Jute, Federico, Aili and Annika. Jute works for a big company and he travels quite a bit while I work with clay from home. We live in a very nice house by a park few km from the centre of Tampere. Federico attends the first year of school while Aili goes to kindergarten. We try to do outdoors activities and encourage our children to be active.
Your main job is taking care of the children in the afternoon (to get them from kindergarten, playing with them, reading to them, taking them outside) and helping me with some light house choires (laundry, setting the table, occasionally hovering). You would have your own room and a bathroom shared with Annika. All weekends would be free for you to enjoy the city or to spend time with us, that is up to you. We speak Finnish, Italian and English at home so it would be a good opportunity to get to know many languages. We would love if you could speak English or Italian to the children.
