Hello! Thanks for reading this. I am a single father who would like some help with managing my busy life, including looking after my eight year old daughter and three (almost four) year old son part of the day. I am an accountant, and leave for work early each morning and don't return until the evening most days. My children are in school. We live in Blackpool, a popular seaside town in north west England about which you can find information on the internet. We live in a nice part of town in a comfortable house with a small garden. There is a car for you to use, if you have a license. We like to go for excursions to different places and do activities at the weekend. Of course you could join us if you wanted to. I am originally from Scotland and do not have relatives nearby, so finding help with the children when I am working (Monday to Thursday) and they are not at school is difficult.
I leave for work after 06.30 and return by 19.00 Monday to Thursday. The help/work would include... 07.00-08.00 Mon-Thu: getting children up and supervising them to wash, dress, eat breakfast; 08.20-09.00 taking to school (walking or driving them); 15.00 or sometimes 17.00: collecting older child from school, taking home and making sure she is ok; 17.30 or sometimes 15.00: collecting younger child from pre-school (from September this will be the same school as his sister); 17.00-17.45: giving dinner to children (I can prepare the previous evening or you can cook if you like); 17.45-19.00: making sure children are ok and have something to do before I return.
