Hi, I am Martina, I am Italian but my husband is British. We are looking for an Italian au pair as I think she could help teaching the kids some Italian while she learns English (the main language spoken at home is English). We have an au pair at the moment who has been with us for 2 1/2 years but sadly she now needs to move on. We are looking for someone reliable, patient, energetic and fun. Mainly someone that the kids will love!
The au pair will do 25-30 hours work per week, plus 2 babysitting evening a week (these are always in an au pair contract but don't always get used!!). She will help getting the children ready for school in the morning, prepare their meals and help with light housework such as loading and unloading the dishwasher and the washing machine. She will tidy after herself and the children. I work from home so in the afternoon, after the kids come back from school she will look after them while I am in the home office. We have an English school 2 minutes walk from our house which prepares for the internationally recognised Cambridge exams so she can study English there if she chooses.
