We are a French family with 3 children (6, 8 and 10) living in London and going to France for the summer holidays (23rd of July till 23rd of August - Flexible). We are looking for someone to help us out during that time. We have a house in Brittany by the sea next to Dinard where we go every summer. Our children are quite energetic and speak fluent French and English. They need someone caring and fun who can take them to some of their activities locally (no car needed), supervise a bit of homework and someone who can play with them. We would love to welcome a young lady to share our holidays with and in return for some help with our children, she could enjoy some really nice time in our regions learning everything about the French culture and language as well as eat some delicious food! We are a very simple family and we love spending time together during the holidays, playing games, going to the beach or doing some long walks around the town. We also like going to the forest or nearby farms so that our children experience what it is like living in the countryside. We like taking bikes, going to swimming pool or going to the nearby market to buy some fresh vegetables and fruit or some local art! We enjoy going for an ice-cream from time to time in the evening and walking alongside the beach. Our 3 children are lovely with very different personalities. Noeleen is the very arty one who has a lot of imagination and creativity. She can de very independent but will greatly appreciate another girl in the house as it can be hard with 2 brothers! Tristan is boy who loves football and chess. He plays the guitar as well and tends to have a lot of friends. He's got a very generous nature but does not like to loose when we play board games! Arthur is our little one although growing up very quickly. He's full of beans and really likes talking and playing with cars. We are quite firm on discipline and want to ensure that our children have got good table manners, are respectful and polite.
Dear Au Pair, We would be delighted if you could join our family for 1 month when we move to Brittanny for the holidays. We go to a charming resort, very protected where food is amazing and the landscape is gorgeous. We will need you to help take our children to their activities, to play with them when they are home, to help with bath time and dinner and to supervise a bit of homework. You may have a few errands to run like getting the famous baguette or a few vegetables or fruits at the nearby market. In return, we offer the ability to discover our culture, food and surroundings. You will have your own room, the bathroom will be shared with our children only. You will have the ability to discover the regions either with us or during your free time and to enjoy the closeby beach. We look forward to welcoming you into our family.
