We are both professionals - I'm the founder and CEO of a mental health charity, my partner is a managing director of a building and maintenance firm. We enjoy traveling, music events, comedy, meals out etc. We love to share the world with people who visit us, and we would enjoy taking you around our beautiful county when we are not working. We would like to see that our au pair has a good sense of humour, a genuine and honest nature, and willingness to be flexible. We live in a 5 bedroom home with a gym and a cinema room. We are within 1.5 miles of the beach, and 1 mile to woods & lake. Many beautiful sites to see within the county of Cornwall. There would also be opportunity for you to get involved with my work, and build experience working within the mental health sector.
My daughter is a child of a previous relationship. She lives with her Dad 3 days per week. my daughter is in school, and will need to be supported in the morning and taken to school, and collected from school. We (and you) would have every other weekend off. We would provide a vehicle for your use. We need the household maintained - i.e, laundry done, general tidying and cleaning. It would be helpful to have some meals cooked when we have been very busy, though we are both keen cooks, and would cook for you, as well as take you out for meals on some evenings when we go out. Working patterns would be: Week 1: Mon 7:30-10:30 Childcare & Housework + 15:15-18:00 School pick up, outing, dinner cooking Tuesday 7:30-10:30 Childcare & Housework + 15:15-18:00 School pick up, outing, dinner cooking Wednesday 7:30-10:00 Childcare & Housework + 15:15-18:00 School pick up, outing, dinner cooking Friday - 2 hour deep clean (any time) Weekend off. Week 2: Mon 7:30-10:30 Childcare & Housework + 15:15-18:00 School pick up, outing, dinner cooking Tuesday 7:30-10:30 Childcare & Housework + 15:15-18:00 School pick up, outing, dinner cooking Wednesday & Thursday off Friday - 2 hour deep clean & school pickup 15:15, dinner cooking Sat & sun - some ad hoc childcare, or whole family outings. plenty free time to have off. Negotiable salary.
