Hi, I live in Arlington, VA with my husband and daughter. We are not able to get back to Taiwan all the time to keep up our daughter's language training, so we are looking for a very nice, intelligent fluent Chinese and/or Taiwanese speaking au pere. I am looking at going back to work and my daughter's schedule is a bit difficult to accommodate with a work schedule. Some preferred characteristics: physically fit, patient, a good role model, independent. We are under a mile form several colleges in the Northern VA area. Our neighborhood is very multi ethnic and we have great public transportation options (Bus, Uber, Subway and Bike). There are a huge variety of restaurants and we are no more than 10 min by car from the National Mall and Washington, DC. Closest Metro station is Ballston for reference.
1) Language training though a weekly class schedule (2-3 hours a week) and all daily interaction with daughter. 2) Take daughter to and from school, usually just the bus stop. (0830 and 1600 daily) 3) Take her to after school classes by Uber or Public trans. (1600-1730 daily usually) 4) Some daily cleaning/ laundry 5) Weekends free/ welcome to join family on trips and weekend activities if you would like 6) Free outside of times listed above generally.
