Hi! We are an international family, living in Amsterdam and consisting of Matt (34 years old, British), Anna (39 years old, Finnish/Dutch), Leon (9 years old) and Kate (1 year old). We also have a 2 year old labrador dog, called Maxi. Matt works in Advertising and has a busy and demanding job, but he always tries to make sure he can spend time with his family as much as possible in the evenings after work and on the weekends. Anna works part time in Recruitment and spends the rest of her time taking care of the kids and the house, which she loves. Leon is an incredibly sweet and well behaved 9 year old, who has lots of friends in the neighbourhood to play with. Leon is into climbing and gymnastics and loves to read. Leon's English is very good but not fully fluent, so we hope that this experience will only help him perfect it. Kate joined our family on the 31st May 2017 and is an absolute delight. She is a very contented little baby who sleeps well, and smiles a lot despite her young age. We also have a beautiful 2 year old labrador called Maxi, who is the sweetest dog in the world and a joy to be around for grown ups and kids alike. This year was the first year an au pair lived with us, and we just loved the experience. We are now looking for our next au pair, to come and join us in Amsterdam from end of September 2018. We are looking for someone mature, responsible and fun. For us open communication is very important and a positive and pro-active attitude to life. We are an easy going host family who value a good relationship with the au pair, both on a personal level as well as everything relating to the work as au pair. We are looking for an au pair to join us to help us care for the children when we are at work. Our son Leon goes to school every day until 15.00, so most of the day the au pair would be caring for Kate, our 1 year old daughter. We would like the au pair to give her love and attention and to have lots of fun with her and Leon. As a part of our household, we would also expect our au pair to help with light household chores as well as grocery shopping and cooking on the 3.5 days that she would be working for us. The au pair would have 3.5 days per week free time, including the whole weekend.
