We are a French family of 3 lovely little girls looking for their very first au-pair from September. We have been in London for almost 9 years now, and loving it. Our 3 daughters were born here; they are French, but their primary langage is definitely English! Our youngest one will be going to school full time so we won't need a full time nanny any more and we were hoping to find and host a nice young woman who would like to discover London in our family. Victoria is almost 8 and will start Year4 in September, Eva, our cadet is 6 and will start Year2; our youngest Nora is 4 and will start Reception. We live in a house with a garden in a great, green, fun and young area of London (Clapham between the commons - parks), and the girls are lucky enough to be going to a nice school with a lovely community of families. You will easily connect and make friends with other nannies / au-pairs. Our daughters have no allergies and no special needs. They are well behaved, polite, have good manners and fun! We love music, going out, exercising, reading, dancing, food, having dinner party... We are friendly, warm, genuine and authentic. We have 2 cats We hope you will spend most of your free time independently, making friends, discovering London, but you will be welcomed to share our family life (lunch/dinner, entertainment). We hope to find the right balance with the right person.
We are looking for someone who loves cooking, playing artistic and educative activities, reading stories to the kids, singing / dancing / having fun. Your duties are only related to the kids, there won't be any household tasks apart from helping the girls to tidy up after themselves. You will have to get the girls ready for school, drop them off and pick them up, play and develop their creativity, organize playdates and other activities, support them with homework, go to the park/playground, bring them to activities if required, prepare their dinner, bath them ... You will be working 30 hours a week maximum, with 1- 2 babysitting included in those hours (any extra paid). You will be free on non-school holidays week from 9.15am till 3.30pm, and every evening from 7pm (or earlier). During School holidays we are expecting you to take care of the girls full time Your weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are free except if you are babysitting on an evening (planned in advance). Your pay will be 100-120 GBP / week. You will have minimum 22 days paid holidays + all bank holidays paid (8/year). We will provide you with a mobile phone (+free Wifi) as well as transport pass to go around London.
