Dear Au-pair, We are looking for an au-pair ideally from MID MAY to END of SEPTEMBER. However, we will consider you application if you are only available from beginning of June. We are a multicultural family. My husband is a visual artist born in El Salvador whose family later relocated to the United States. He is 42 years old. I am a French national, 35 year of age, from the island of Corsica where we currently live. We have been married for 11 years and 2 years ago we welcomed to our family our first child: Salvador. We both speak English, French and Spanish. We also had 2 amazing experiences with our au-pair girl and we would like to renew the experience this summer.
We expect from our au pair to be dedicated to our child since he will be only 2 years and a half. We would like our au pair to have experience with babies, be on time, responsible and independent. The au pair will be in charge of driving and picking up the baby from day care during the week with a day off. She will be in charge of the night routine which includes, preparing dinner, bathing, changing and feeding the baby. We also expect the au pair to clean up after the baby. We would also expect the au-pair to take care of Salvador during the week-ends. We would like the au pair to be flexible as far as working hours. The advantage the au pair will have with us is that we are a young happy couple who are very well traveled with different cultural backgrounds. She will be able to discover the traditional Corsican culture and she will have the opportunity to interact with all the people surrounding us on an everyday basis including my parents, cousins, friends, co-workers etc. She will have the advantage of living in a preserved country-side environment surrounded by trees, mountains, fresh air and have lots of open space to enjoy. During her time off she will be able to take advantage of the nearest beach which is only a 10 minute walk and discover the picturesque villages nearby.
