We are a high functioning Autistic family. We have a 1 year old girl full time and a 9 year old boy part time. We work in Forest Schools and are aiming to provide our girl with home education not school. I (mother) work full time in a local charity community group. The father works part time (monday and thursday) at the same charity. We have 3 cats and a bee hive. We do not currently have chickens but are looking at getting them again. We are meat eaters - but rear our own birds where possible and hunt to be more ethical. We forage and grow our own fod where possible.
Because the boy is part time, we would expect to look after him as much as possible ourselves so the main focus would be on helping look after the 1 year old girl so that we can get household chores done throughout the week. You would also be looking after her for a full work day on Monday and Thursdays.
