Hello, my husband Thomas and I live with our 10 month old daughter Emiliy and small dog Alan. We are looking for someone to help me with our daughter and around the house. If you like playing peek-a-boo, singing songs, going on walks, helping with nutritious meals and with some light house work this would be the post for you. Mostly it would be care along side me. We are looking for someone immediately for 6-12 months. We live in a 4 bedroom house with a very large garden in Crystal Palace southeast London. There are lots of groups for children around the area and we try and get out every day of the week and do something fun for Emily, sing-a-longs, baby comedy, sensory classes, swimming etc. Tom works in the city and gets home by 7pm so help with supper/bath time a few nights a week or mornings. I am planning on having another baby and would like Emily to have as full a life as possible even if I get tired or sick. Holidays are normally to our family cottage in Dartmouth, Greece or my native Canada. My husbands family is in the UK and we go down to visit them as well.
My husband had au pairs growing up, most of whom are still in touch with the family. We are looking for someone to became part of Emily's world. I need help entertaining her, playing games, attending activities, help around the house. Keeping the baby busy so I can get things done around the house like put away laundry or other silly things I can't find the time to do. The baby is quite happy and smiley but she likes to interact and be entertained. She has been a good napper/sleeper and is proving to be a good eater and really is a lot of fun. Some help in the kitchen with meal preparation and meal time. There would be scope to earn extra money if you wanted to babysit some evenings. The schedule would be flexible possibly 3 mornings a week and 2 afternoons. You can be as involved in our evening weekend plans as you want to be and also happy if you wanted to be independent in your free time.
