Hello, I would love to find someone who is caring, friendly, intelligent, trustworthy and reliable. You would like languages and exploring different countries and cultures, and must be able to speak English well. We are a half British and half African family consisting of Dad, Mum, 4 year old daughter and 6 month old baby boy. Dad is an actor who is away from home most of the time and I am a full time (female) Doctor working in the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. I'm currently on maternity leave but shall be returning to work beginning of Feb. I work 7.30am till 5pm most days and some long shifts 7.30am till 8.30pm. I also work night shifts on a Rota basis (once a month maximum)
I have a 4 year old daughter who is very bright and inquisitive. She would need help with breakfast and dropping off at Primary school for 8.45am, then collecting after school at 3.20pm prompt. She would then need help with homework (reading simple books and learning the alphabet and numbers) and dinner time. Any games, craft, drawing and playtime would be very nice for her. My second child is a 6 month old boy. You would need to care for him all day and take him with you while dropping off & collecting his sister. He is currently weaning off milk to puréed foods. He has a routine and is a very easy & happy baby. His care would involve occasional bathing (in case of nappy accidents) feeding, changing nappies and lots of cuddles and fun. I am looking for someone who is loving and caring with a kind but firm approach. You need to be patient and stick to our form of discipline which is time out/naughty step. But saying that Abigail is very well behaved as she is eager to please, the only time she may misbehave is if she gets too tired. We also reward good behaviour and good manners with treats. You can decide what you do with your day as long as my children are in a suitable and safe environment. If you need to do your shopping or explore the local area, go for it! Most days you would be required from 7 am till 5.30pm to take care of the children, some occasional days till 8.30pm depending on my Rota. Some occasional weekends as per Rota if there is no family member available. If you work the weekend then there would be a week day off (My day off). Strictly a non smoker and no alcohol use while responsible for the children. Some light cleaning duties like cleaning the kitchen/bathroom up after use is required.
