We are a family of 4.I have 2 kids, a boy 12 and a girl 9.my husband and I are doctors .We need an au pair mainly to get our kids to and from school and for after school activities.My kids are quite active.We are friendly and have had 4 au pairs in the past that we grew to care about very much.My daughter is a typical girl and loves talking, dressing up ,dancing ,gymnastics and watching TV.My son loves football and basketball .He is much less talkative.They are both quite independent and don't really require much supervision. We live in a small town in the south of England called Chesham.Our house is on the outskirts of town and there is an underground train service which gets you to central london in 40 mins.There are 2 slightly bigger towns nearby Hemel Hempstead and Amersham both of which have colleges and are less than 20 min drive away.Our previous and current au pair attended the Amersham college for English classes in both these towns.All our au pairs had part time jobs and this has never been an issue as long as the hours did not clash with the au pair hours.Our current au pairs works while kids are in school and our last au pair worked evenings and weekends. We have had 3 au pairs ,one from Hungary and 3 from Spain( 1 from Majorca and 2 from Seville).They all had different personalities and we loved having them with us.Our current au pair is Spanish,she has been with us for 1 year and we are very sorry she is leaving to go back home.She will be happy to answer any questions if you feel we might be a suitable family for you.
I am looking for a female au pair between the ages of 24-30 form the EU.My main requirement is that our au pair genuinely likes children, is patient and responsible.My kids are quite active so I would like an au pair who enjoys physical activities and sports. Our main need for an au pair is to take the kids to and from school and after school activities.To feed and stay with them until myself or my husband get home.Driving is a very important part of the role.My kids are old enough that they don't require too much supervision.You would be free every evening and weekends.Babysitting would be rare ,once a month at most. You would have your own room and free wifi.Weekends are yours and I would rarely ask to babysit on a weekend max once in 3 months.You would have a car to drive the kids and yourself to e.g. gym,English classes class etc. I would require some help with house cleaning but nothing too heavy.Hovering once a week and cleaning the bathroom weekly too. Of course there is a bit more to say but if what I have written so far sounds interesting then pls get in touch.
