We are a family with two girls living in Lisse in the heart of the tulip fields. We are searching for a responsible, energetic and kind au pair with lots of love to give our children. We have already had 6 au pairs living with us and all of the times have been very good experiences, and we still keep in regular contact with all of the previous au pairs. Our current au pair is leaving us end July/early Aug, and we are therefore searching for an au pair that can come and join us then and stay for 12 months. We want to make sure that you feel at home here and will treat you as part of the family, at the same time we respect your privacy. We are a social and active family that likes to spend our free time with friends and being outside. We are a multi-national family with 2 girls (Emma and Sofie) that will be 8 yrs and 5 yrs when you join us. Nina (mum) is Norwegian, Paul (dad) is English, and we are living in The Netherlands in the heart of the tulip fields in a town called Lisse. The children are tri-lingual as they are attending Dutch speaking school. Emma loves playing with her school friends, doing art stuff and playing outside on the trampoline in the garden etc. She also enjoy her gymnastic lessons and ski lessons once per week. She is a very energetic and happy girl that generally does as she is told, but she can also have her moments of misbehaviour (as any normal 8 yrs old). We are searching for a responsible, active and loving au pair that we can completely trust to take care of our two angels. Emma and Sofie will enjoy being picked up from school and play with you (and sometimes have a school friend over) until Nina gets home from work. The children are our complete priority, and we prefer that you spend quality time with them and will therefore not expect you to do much housework (we have a cleaning woman). It would however be great if you can cook a simple dinner that we can all eat together when Nina gets back from work. You will also be responsible for the laundry of the kids clothes and keeping the play areas in a livable condition (with the help of the girls of course!). Most importantly we want you to enjoy spending time with the children and have a great stay in the Netherlands. Our previous au pairs tell us they enjoyed the time with our family so much that they did not want to leave at the end of the period (and they keep coming back to visit from time to time:) – we hope you will feel the same way if you become our au pair.
