We are looking for a 'demi-pair', with 15 hours per week childcare- school runs etc, and plenty of time to study, or even have another job in the day. We've had au pairs before. I'm a single mum, to two lovely boys. The older is in school, and very busy with hobbies, and the younger attends nursery school. They like trains. .
The au pair job is for a 'demi-pair'- less work than a typical au pair role. There will be 2-4 hours childcare per day on week days, and approx one night a fortnight babysitting when the children are asleep. You will live as one of the family, and be expected to take part in normal household chores as part of the family, eg. taking care of your own room, helping clean up after meals, ensure the hoover runs round.
