Hi there! I'm Lou, mum to a very fun, clever and outgoing little boy called Richie. Richie goes to school Monday - Friday but we could do with some help before and after school (such as getting his school uniform on and having breakfast) and occasional weekends. Richie enjoys playing games, swimming, football, riding his bike, and wants to be a surfer and skateboarder! We speak English (but are trying to learn more Spanish so we would really like to meet someone who speaks a bit of both... We have recently moved to Spain from UK and we are looking for a live-in au-pair for a couple of months from December 2017 / January 2018 - end of Match 2018 (maybe longer, if we find a great person who wants to stay with us!). We are very flexible on dates both starting and finishing - you just need to ask us what your preference is. We live on the sunny Costa del Sol between Estepona and Marbella - these are both lively towns with lots to see and so and with some nice beaches around. Where we live are language school / yoga place / beauticians / cafes / bars / restaurants / supermarkets / park - all just 5 minutes walk away We live in a large town house with swimming pool and you would have the attic conversion. We also have a very friendly dog who is great fun and enjoys his walks and fetching balls etc Although we are just a small family, we are happy, enjoy life and make the most of it :-)
Your role would involve basic childcare duties with Richie: such as getting him ready for school in the morning, preparing dinner for him, playing with him and making sure he has a bath and goes to bed at a sensible time. Richie loves to have fun (of course!) and after school would be when you would have most interaction with him. There would be some light housework (just sweeping the floor and unpacking the dishwasher sort of thing). Ideally you would be able to walk the dog a couple of times a week. This job would be a nice introduction into Spanish life - whilst still learning the language...
