We are a family of three who are lucky enough to live in a beautiful Scottish town with a University, castle, great links to Scotland's main cities and the surrounding countryside. We are busy and happy and enjoy nature and travelling. We would love for someone to share our home and help us with our routine, and we look forward to teaching someone about our language and culture. We would like someone who really wants to know us well, and enjoys spending time with children. Someone kind, organised and good at cooking is really important! You will also have a good basic standard of English but I will pay for you to go to English classes three mornings a week in our town to help you improve if you want. I look forward to hearing from you.
The most important thing for us is that you love children and want to get to know the kids. It is important to me that you are coming to be part of our family, and not just requiring a place to stay whilst you learn English. Our au pair will have light cleaning work (just helping with the general running of the house) and will be looking after the children before and after school. This is a 45min period each morning (8- 8.45am) and two hours after 3.30pm. Cooking and being organised are very important. Weekends will mainly be free as will evenings (subject to varying evenings to be arranged when required). Everything apart from pre and post school care is subject to negotiations. Wages will reflect the limited hours required for childcare (generally 15/ 20 hrs a week). You will also have a good basic standard of English.
