Hello, we are a young English / French family living in France. We have just bought a house near the beautiful town of Uzes, in the Gard and with a new baby on the way are looking for someone to join us for a few months. The Father is English 44, the Mother French 37. Our kids are Leo 4 /Alma 1 / New baby 0 (due to arrive early October). We love reggae / FIP radio / cooking good food / walking river swims. The principle language in the house is French, but Leo understands pretty much everything in English. We all speak both English and French. We live in a house we just moved into, in a small village called Arpaillargues, just outside (4km) the amazing town of Uzes. Southern France. We are expecting a new addition to the family in October, hence the need for a little help in the house. We like to eat healthy, and plan on building a big hedge patch and getting some chickens pretty soon after we move in. Dad goes a couple of times a month to the UK for a week or so. Leo has been in a Steiner school so far and will now join the village school which is a few Minuit walk away from the house.
Generally looking after the children to give us a bit of time to catch up on other things. Taking Leo to school, looking after Alma. perhaps preparing lunch, little house work if needed. We are looking for an English speaking au pair to help the kids get a better grasp of the language.
