*****URGENT - we need someone to start on Monday 28th August - URGENT******* We are a lovely, easy going family, living in Hanwell, West London. We have two daughters, aged 6 and 4 years, both of whom are in good routines. They are delightful children, well behaved (most of the time!) and full of curiosity. Our eldest loves jigsaws, dressing up and riding her scooter in the park. Our youngest daughter loves painting, being outside and playing with her big sister's toys! We have had 3 fantastic Spanish au pairs over the past 3 years. Our most recent au pair has just returned to Spain to pursue her teaching career. Our situation My husband and I work full time, both in the centre of London. Both children will be in school from September (8.45-3pm daily). Life is busy but we still make time for home cooked dinners (my husband enjoys cooking!), and enjoy playing boardgames with the girls. We would need someone to start on 28 August and ideally stay with us for 12 months (or longer). Duties required * Taking the children to school (about a 5 minute walk from our house) * Pre and After school care (I usually make breakfast for the girls) * Preparing dinners for the children * Keeping the house clean and tidy * Taking the girls to weekly activities * Helping with homework * Giving them baths/showers * Doing the girls' laundry * Babysitting as required (normally once, maybe twice a week) * Child care during school holidays (if we don't have time off) - this could be 2-3 weeks of full time childcare, particularly over the summer vacation period The ideal candidate will: * have at least 1 year working with children * have a mature and sensible approach to childcare * have a good understanding of English, both written and spoken * be a non smoker * be a good timekeeper * be kind, good natured and lots of fun!
