We are a happy, fun and caring family looking for a like-minded & kind live-in aupair, (or live-out nanny), who can help us out! The position is available from mid-July 2016. We live in Northbridge, which is a family-centric residential suburb, pretty & a very safe part of Sydney, (Lower North Shore). The area is full of families and there is a good number of aupairs, so there would be an excellent network of friends to hang out with. Conveniently located, with a 15-mins bus ride into the city CBD for great shopping and close to beaches and bays or a short bus ride away to the shopping malls of Chatswood!
We require about 30 hours of help per week - (no work is ever required at the weekends - it's completely free for you to discover Sydney or just relax). We have three sweet, good kids, & help is please needed with school pick-up?drop-offs and taking them to some local after-school activities. We have a cleaner who comes each week to clean the house, so the au-pair/nanny role only involves general light housework, like tidying, sweeping and laundry. Sometimes, a bit of shopping & simple, easy cooking- (mainly for the kids). You will have a private room with balcony looking out over the swimming pool and garden, unlimited internet access, meals provided and a weekly wage, based on hours work. We're looking for someone who is: •Genuinely caring and kind in nature, with a focus on kid's well-being. •Drivers licence and a confident safe driving ability. •Good standard of English (to help with homework - pretty basic stuff)! •References and previous experience in child-care?nannying. We have lots of references from our previous au-pairs if you wish to speak with them about us as a family and the role! Ideally we'd like our next aupair or nanny to stay a MINIMUM of 6 months but possibly longer. The position is available asap!
