Hello future family member, My husband & I have a beautiful son Cody who will be 3 in September. We work full time and would love to have an au pair, as daycare hours don't always fit into our work commitments. Although Cody will still attend daycare 1-2 days a week for socialisation. We want him to enjoy all the toddler fun activities even though we have to work full time. Having an au pair in our family will accomplish this. **We must make you aware that Cody does have anaphylaxis to eggs. So caution is needed in what he eats and his epipen must go everywhere he goes incase of an allergic reaction. We also have pet cats and dogs, who are a big part of the family. We live on the Mornington Peninsula (Tootgarook) which is a sea side area in Victoria. Our lifestyle revolves around spending time at the beach or on our boat. We enjoy the outdoors and take Cody to the park, zoos and outings on a regular basis.
Our expectations are to have someone available to watch Cody during the time he's not at daycare. (1--2 days he will still attend) I travel for work for two nights twice a month. So will need to be able to take Cody to daycare on those days as my husband leaves for work at 4am. Routine would be 3-5 days full time per week. Times & days would vary when I am away. General light duties and meal preparation. Entertain Cody with crafts, reading and general play to assist in his growth and development. Weekends would be your free time, although always welcome to join us on any outings. Basically we will treat you as part of our family. Also any weekday activities for Cody you will be required to take him along to. Playgroup or library. Plus if you wish to do any classes like gym etc we will work with you to accomodate these. Flexibility is very much how we run our lives. We are a fun loving family and I'm sure you will enjoy been part of our family. xxx
